Request an Automotive Repair
Our automotive services are part of student learning, so your experience may be a little different from a traditional repair shop. Before submitting a request to service your vehicle, please read and acknowledge the following guidelines below.
Guidelines
- Repairs must align with current course instruction.
- Not all vehicles or repairs can be accepted. Vehicles older than 15 model years may not qualify.
- A completed Vehicle Repair Request Form is required before consideration.
- After submission, your request will be added to a work list. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a drop-off time. While we will do our best, selection is not guaranteed.
- Vehicles must be left for more than one day. Students work three to four hours per day, so repairs may take longer than at a commercial repair shop.
- Customers are responsible for parts and labor. Labor is $5 per billable hour based on the repair manual.
- The instructor will schedule a drop-off time for approved vehicles.
- Pickup hours are 8 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–4 p.m. in room T-151. Full payment is required at pickup.
- Courtesy transportation is not available.
- Location: IT Building, northeast side of the Wisconsin Rapids Campus, 500 32nd Street North.
- Submission of the form authorizes up to $50 in repairs without additional estimate approval.
Agreement
If you agree to the guidelines above, select the I Agree button below to continue to the request form. Include as much detail as possible so we can review your request. We review each request carefully and will follow up to let you know if we’re able to help.
