Electric Vehicle Charging
Free EV Charging at Every Campus
Mid-State Technical College is proud to provide electric vehicle (EV) charging in our communities!
Level 2 charging stations are available at these Mid-State campuses:
- Adams Campus
- Marshfield Campus
- Wisconsin Rapids Campus (solar powered)
- Stevens Point Downtown Campus
These stations were installed by Mid-State students, with grant funding from Constellation Energy.
Charging is always free. If you’d like to give back, consider supporting Mid-State students with a donation to the Mid-State Foundation.

- Park in a designated EV charging space.
- Plug the charger into your vehicle—charging will begin automatically.
- When finished, unplug and return the connector.
- Be sure to move your vehicle when charging is complete so others can use the station.
