The Technical College Advantage

The demand for skills gained in two-year technical degree programs is on the rise, with no end in sight. And compared to a four-year degree, technical college degrees come with far less student debt. Here’s a closer look at the reasons so many people make Mid-State their college of choice.

In Demand Technical Skills

Many of the fastest growing occupations today require a technical college degree. And 87 percent of our grads are employed within six months of obtaining their degree.

Transferable

Many of our courses and programs include guaranteed transfer to UWs and more, and our University Transfer degrees enjoy guaranteed transfer to hundreds of colleges.

Affordable

Mid-State’s cost per credit is 2–3 times lower than four-year public institutions and up to 7 times lower than private college credits. We also offer comprehensive financial aid resources.

Options & Flexibility

Mid-State offers over 100 in-demand degree programs and certificates. Students can choose from small in-person classes, online classes, and innovative technology class options.
