Mid-State offers two different Discovery Day experiences to help middle and high school students learn about Mid-State's career and training opportunities: Discovery Days for career exploration, and Dual Credit Discovery Days to explore dual credit opportunities.
Explore Careers at Discovery Day
Discovery Day is the perfect way for middle school students to explore careers and learn about the hands-on college degrees needed for success. Students will start the day with a career interest survey to identify careers that match their skills and interests. Next, they’ll learn about Mid-State’s programs and participate in hands-on sessions led by Mid-State experts.

Learn About Dual Credit Too!
Dual Credit Discovery Days invite current Dual Credit students for a morning of learning and fun. Students have the opportunity to connect with current students and Mid-State faculty to better understand the benefits and requirements of Mid-State programs.

- Hear from current students and local employers.
- Participate in hands-on activities.
