Mid-State partners closely with K–12 staff to help students explore college pathways, earn credit in high school, and prepare for in-demand careers. Use this page as your hub for program information, classroom support, professional development, and outreach opportunities available to your school.
Become a Dual Credit Instructor
Dual Credit allows qualified high school teachers to deliver Mid-State courses in their own classrooms—giving students the chance to earn both high school and college credit at no cost.
Minimum Qualifications
You may qualify to teach Dual Credit if:
- You hold a current DPI license in the subject area you’d like to teach.
- You are employed as a secondary school instructor in a district served by Mid-State.

Mid-State offers grant funding and professional development opportunities to help you meet instructor requirements, including summer summits and targeted trainings.

Mid-State Campus Visits
Bring your students to a Mid-State campus to immerse them in hands-on learning and experience life as a technical college student. Visits can include program tours, demonstrations, interactive activities, and time with instructors.

Mid-Wisconsin School-To-Work Consortium
The Mid-Wisconsin School-to-Work Consortium is a group of School-to-Work Coordinators from local school districts and representatives from Mid-State Technical College, CESA 5, and nearby business groups.
