Angler’s Club
Love fishing? Join fellow students for organized fishing events and outdoor activities. Open to all Mid-State students. Advisor: Matt Manicki
Business Professionals of America (BPA)
Build leadership and business skills through networking, projects, and state and national events. Great for students interested in business careers or owning a business. A small membership fee applies. Advisor: Sharon Behrens (715-422-5369)
Cyber Cougars
Interested in technology? Join this IT-focused club for tech activities, game nights, and convention trips. Members help choose events and activities. Advisor: Brian Krause
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society
PTK recognizes academic excellence and leadership. Eligible students with a qualifying GPA are invited to join. Members focus on scholarship, service, and leadership development. Advisor: Trevor Powers (715-422-5433)
Taste Buds
Explore culture through food. Members cook, share meals, host guests, and attend events that celebrate diverse traditions and communities. Advisor: Joe Hoffman
Veterans Club

Auto Club
Open to Automotive and Diesel Technology students. Participate in events that support your program and connect with classmates who share your interests. Advisor: Matt Manicki
Diesel Club
For students interested in diesel technology and heavy equipment. Compete in SkillsUSA®, tour industry facilities, and work on a project semi-truck to build skills, leadership, and pride in your craft. Advisor: Scott Engel
Mid-State HVAC Solutions
For students interested in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Gain knowledge, share ideas, and explore industry trends. Advisor: Mark Haferman
Mid-State Student Nurses’ Association (MSNA)
Open to nursing students and those on the ADN waiting list. Members engage in service, leadership, and professional development activities connected to state and national nursing organizations. Advisors: Lisa Massen and Crissy Watenpaugh
Respiratory Therapy Club
For Respiratory Therapy students. Enhance your learning experience and promote awareness of the profession through campus and community involvement. Advisor: Nick Goldberg
SkillsUSA®
Open to students in Industrial and Technical programs. Participate in leadership activities and connect with state and national SkillsUSA opportunities. Advisors: Mike Berry and Russell Moore
Student Society of Arboriculture (SSA)
For Arborist Technician students. Attend industry speaker events, engage in community outreach, and participate in the annual Arbor Day event. Advisor: Luke Scheberl

How to Start a Club
Don’t see a club that fits your interests? Start one! Starting a club is a great way to lead, create change, and build something meaningful at Mid-State. You'll just need to find a faculty or staff advisor, recruit students, and follow requirements for founding and running your club.
