Healthcare Simulation Center
Hands-On Healthcare Training in a Real Hospital Setting
The Mid-State Healthcare Simulation Center is a state-of-the-art training space built to meet the growing need for skilled healthcare workers. Located inside Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital, the center gives students hands-on practice in a real healthcare setting.
Here, students learn by doing. High-tech simulators and realistic labs help them build skills before working with live patients. This safe, supportive environment helps students gain confidence and prepare for real-world care.
Learning Opportunities
The Simulation Center gives Mid-State students a safe place to practice real healthcare skills. These simulated learning experiences support and strengthen clinical training. Students can work through real-life medical scenarios without risk to patients.
High-fidelity simulators recreate situations such as stroke, sepsis, shock, bleeding, and childbirth. Sessions can be recorded so students can review their work and learn from each experience.
