Why Electrical & Instrumentation Technician?
Electrical and instrumentation technicians play a vital role in keeping today’s industrial and manufacturing systems running safely and efficiently. In this apprenticeship, you’ll build the technical skills needed to test, maintain, and modify electrical machinery and control equipment used in modern facilities.
You’ll work with advanced tools and precision instruments while learning how to support engineers and technologists in high-demand industrial environments. This hands-on training prepares you for a career where accuracy, problem-solving, and technical expertise are essential every day.
How Apprenticeship Works
Registered Apprenticeships combine structured on-the-job training with related classroom instruction, giving you access to careers that typically require experience. To complete an apprenticeship, you’ll start by partnering with a sponsor who offers paid on-the-job training. Apprenticeships often take several years to complete and are based on hours earned on the job and in the classroom.
