English Language Learning

Learn English with Support

Build your English skills with free English Language Learning (ELL) classes. Learn in person or online in a supportive environment provided by Mid-State’s Academic Learning Center. Free online tools included. Find a class that fits your schedule.

Start with an Orientation

To get started, first attend an orientation session. This session will give you information about our ELL classes and how to register. You’ll also take the TABE CLAS-E Assessment, to determine your knowledge of the English language.

There is no fee to take the TABE CLAS-E test or attend ELL classes.

Schedule your orientation at a Mid-State campus or virtually today!

English Language Learning Classes

After you complete your orientation and TABE CLAS-E assessment, you will be placed in either Beginning-Level or Multi-Level classes to meet your needs.
