Mid-State Technical College hosted its 49th annual Farm Tour on Tuesday, March 10, bringing together more than 100 farmers, industry professionals, educators, students and agricultural partners for a day of hands-on learning, networking and exploration of modern farming practices.
Mid-State Technical College will host its spring graduation on Saturday, May 16. The outdoor ceremony is designed to celebrate all graduating students, their families and invited guests. The event begins at 11 a.m. on the Wisconsin Rapids Campus.
The Mid-State Foundation is ready to turn up the volume with this year’s Rockstars on the Range golf outing! Channel your inner rock legend and dress in your best rockstar-inspired attire while enjoying 18 holes of golf at The Ridges Golf Course. Whether you’re channeling classic rock icons or today’s chart-toppers, it’s a day to have fun, support student scholarships, and swing like a superstar.
All proceeds benefit the mission of the Foundation and support scholarships and grants for students.

Mid-State Technical College will host Tom Farley, community outreach director at Recovery.com and brother of late actor and comedian Chris Farley, for a community conversation on addiction, mental health and stigma. The event takes place Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with two options available—one at Mid-State’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus at noon, the other at the Wisconsin Rapids Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.
